Papers relating to Joyce Kilmer, 1915-1928 (bulk 1915-1918).

Papers pertaining to publication of a book of essays written by Joyce Kilmer: correspondence, 1915-1917, with Kilmer; a printing estimate, May 1916; and two undated, typewritten drafts of publicity. Also present is the draft of a letter sent by Gomme to Kilmer's widow in 1918 after the poet had been killed in France, as well as letters, ordering books, received from Kilmer's mother (Annie Kilburn Kilmer) in 1916 and from his widow (Aline Kilmer) in 1928.
